Many UK organisations pay a “surface water drainage” charge for rainwater entering the public sewer. If rainwater from your land drains away naturally rather than into the public sewer, that charge may not apply. Rebates can be backdated up to six years, and water companies backdate from the date you apply — so delay costs money.

Any backdated refund is applied to your account and your bill is permanently lower going forward. That saving is yours in full.
While we review your water bill, we’ll also research what energy grants and funding schemes your site may be eligible for in your area — free of charge and with no obligation. Just tick the box when you submit your check and we’ll include it in our review. We’ll never promise a grant or quote a figure; we’ll simply research what may be available and tell you what we find.

The right to a reduced surface water drainage charge comes from Ofwat guidance and the water companies’ own charging rules. We are helping you claim what you may already be entitled to — not exploiting a technicality.
We will not write to your water retailer or wholesaler without your signed written authority. Nothing happens until you say so.
You can withdraw at any point before we submit your claim, at no cost. There is no obligation to proceed just because you started the checker.
Only the water company decides whether a rebate applies and how much. We will always tell you what we think, but we will never promise a refund we cannot guarantee.
